OV5 is a versatile instrument: it is possible to use only one shaft with different rotors and stators, for the specific application of the customer. SHAFT The OV5 homogenizer has only one shaft model suitable for all the applications and configurable with different models of rotors / stators. The shaft, thanks to the construction material stainless steel 316L and the PTFE sheats, grants a high resistance and durability. ROTOR / STATOR PRINCIPLE The rotor / stator system consists of a rotor which rotates at high speed within a stationary stator. The rotor and the stator have one or more rows of sharp-edged teeth. Because of the high rotor speed, the medium to be processed is automatically sucked axially into the dispersing head and is then pressed radially through the slots of the rotor-stator arrangement. The wide range of rotors / stators assure the most suitable solution for the different applications.
